Children of the Sea, Travellers on the Road
"Stay Wild, Moonchild" series
 
They may not fit the classic hippie archetype, but they do embody a free-spirited lifestyle. They live in tents on the hillside, gather around campfires, and spend their days chasing waves. Even their unconventional pet, a goose with a knife on its neck, adds to their unique existence. City dwellers often dismiss them as escapist scavengers, while they, in turn, view city life as a mundane vulgarity.
 
They are the children of the sea, travellers on the road.
 
“Who’d live in this kind of place?” the taxi driver muttered, eyeing the cows blocking the road with disdain. I remained silent, knowing that not everyone understands the allure of a life where “City Life Sucks.” Tina’s invitation to “Come live with us” always made me ponder deeply.
To this day, I yearn for the surfer life—pursuing Utopia with friends, with nowhere to go but everywhere.  For me, adopting the wanderer’s mindset embodies an attitude rather than a mere physical escape. It’s about maintaining a traveler’s spirit, embracing freedom from the hustle and bustle of city life, and finding true liberation.
